Corporate Innovation & Leadership Affiliate Program

STVP, the Stanford Engineering Entrepreneurship Center housed in the Department of Management Science & Engineering, is leading a movement to educate leaders who will solve the major challenges of the 21st century. We deliver transformational experiences that equip aspiring entrepreneurs — from all backgrounds, disciplines, and areas of the world — with the ability to solve problems by harnessing engineering principles, ethical decision-making, and emerging technologies.

Joining the STVP Corporate Innovation & Leadership Affiliate Program is a way for companies to have meaningful engagement with STVP faculty and students while building community between members. Our program is designed to support leaders who believe that an entrepreneurial mindset can open doors to creativity and innovative thinking. Prospective STVP Corporate Innovation & Leadership Affiliate Program members are encouraged to review the Stanford University Policies Affecting Industrial Affiliates Program Memberships.

What is an Affiliate Program

An affiliate program provides a mechanism for multiple faculty and multiple companies to discuss and explore broad research topics in a pre-competitive environment. In these programs, Stanford faculty and students can learn about industry perspectives and priorities, and corporate members are exposed to new ideas and research directions. It is also an opportunity for companies to build relationships within the Stanford community and among one another.

Affiliates programs follow the rules that govern university gifts. Membership benefits do not include a statement of work, deliverables or rights to intellectual property. More directed research relationships may be arranged through sponsored research agreements.
