Data Science and Social Systems (BA), Management Science and Engineering (MS)
Rachel is a senior studying Data Science and Social Systems and pursuing a masters in MS&E. She is interested in the application of technological tools and frameworks to drive social progress – both in the public and private sectors. A primary area of interest is improving state capacity by understanding how agile product teams and effective private contracting might enable governments to better meet resident needs. She is also interested in issues of representation and democracy, and is writing an honors thesis on pro-democracy opposition movements while working closely with practitioners at the World Liberty Congress, a global network of pro-democracy activists. In her free time, Rachel can be found climbing mountains and other large rock formations or taking photographs of those she can’t reach just yet.
