Neurotechnology
Pat is a biomedical engineer and neuroscientist passionate about neurotechnology. As a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Psychiatry at Stanford, she develops innovative minimally invasive brain stimulation tools for precise modulation of large-scale, distributed brain networks implicated in psychiatric disorders. Prior to joining Stanford, she completed her MEng in Biomedical Engineering at UCL followed by PhD in Neurotechnology at Imperial College London. In her doctoral research, she worked on the development and validation of Temporal Interference, a novel non-invasive deep brain stimulation technique. In her spare time, she loves to keep her own brain active by exploring nature while trail running, hiking and cycling.
