Nick Allen

Biomedical Computation (BS) & Computer Science (MS)
Nick Allen is a senior from New York, NY, pursuing a B.S. in Biomedical Computation and an M.S. in Computer Science. Having grown up under physicians, Nick aims to use computational tools to revolutionize medicine— building a system rooted in prevention and optimal clinical workflows— instead of practicing himself. Towards this goal, he has researched biomarkers in the Stanford Snyder Lab, engineered a tissue-production platform during a six-month LOA at Valo Health, built a cardiovascular monitoring iOS app with QuanBio, deployed NLP clinical trial patient-matching algorithms as a founding engineer at VitifyHealth, and shipped AI systems as a Forward Deployed Engineer at Palantir. Outside of work, Nick is an avid basketball player, having served as president of Stanford Club Basketball.
