Mia Garvey

Mia is a senior from Westchester, New York studying Mathematics and pursuing a master’s in Computer Science with a focus on AI. She is passionate about building data, AI, and human systems that create meaningful impact and are grounded in a deep understanding of the theory that powers them. Her experiences include developing a knowledge-graph data engine for a growth equity firm, where she also supported investment decisions in the infrastructure software space as an investor. She is currently working on an AI copilot and an accompanying benchmark for pharmacogenomic annotation tasks as a researcher, aiming to improve the reliability of clinical model evaluation. In her free time, Mia enjoys yoga, skiing, and learning Japanese.
