Melanie Edwards

Founder & Board Chair, Mobile Metrix, and Lecturer, Stanford University

Melanie Edwards is an impact entrepreneur and educator. She founded Mobile Metrix, a community-based market insights company that hires local youth to collect data and help design life-improving products for marginalized communities. Previously, Melanie worked in management for J.P. Morgan, International Data Group, and AT&T. She launched the Global Technology Corps with the U.S. Department of State and co-created the United Nations Information Technology Service. Melanie  also served as the first social entrepreneur-in-residence at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. She studied law and diplomacy at Tufts University and also completed studies at Washington University in St. Louis.
