Lucas Burgett

Lucas is a sophomore from San Diego, California, majoring in Mathematics and minoring in Computer Science. His interests include reinforcement learning for robotics, early-stage ventures, and how artificial intelligence will reach people outside of the tech world. Currently, he is working on a tool for autonomous nanophotonic device design in Jonathan Fan’s lab, and will be doing reinforcement learning research this summer at Parametric PBC. Outside of class, he can be found at the beach, playing golf, and struggling to play the guitar.
