Leili Mortazavi

Affective Neuroscience
Leili is a systems neuroscientist translating the neuroscience of emotions and motivation into scalable tools. During her PhD at Stanford University, she bridged noninvasive and invasive methods to study decision-making and addiction, identifying neural and behavioral markers that can prospectively predict risk tendencies and recovery trajectories. With a foundation in psychology and an expertise in advanced neuroimaging and computational techniques, she is passionate about building noninvasive neurotechnology to pinpoint—and strengthen—the bottlenecks that undermine sustained motivation, enabling better real-world health outcomes.
