Lara Rudar
International Relations (Energy + Security)
Lara Rudar is a senior studying International Relations with specializations in Energy and Security. With interests in emerging technology governance and deep climate tech, her CISAC honors thesis examines the commercialization and militarization of Earth observation data, while her work at the Stanford Sustainability Accelerator advances responsible marine carbon dioxide removal. Passionate about building cross-sector communities, she co-founded Los Angeles Climate Week with 20,000+ registrations and contributed to numerous U.N. and NATO conferences. On campus, she leads a student-run investment advisory (SSIG) and accelerator (Cardinal Ventures). Lara also brings experience in product design, growth marketing, and go-to-market strategy from several startups. An artist at heart, she loves oil painting (inspired by the old masters), filmmaking, creative writing, and UX/UI design.
