Jodie Lunger
Genetics
Jodie is a PhD candidate in the Genetics Department, mentored by Dr. Kyle Daniels. Prior to Stanford, Jodie spent two years at the NIH studying RNA biology in cancer. Her current research lies at the intersection of synthetic biology and immunology. She focuses on developing tools to engineer immune cells for next generation cell therapy applications. She is particularly motivated by the promise of harnessing myeloid cells to treat a diversity of diseases, from cancer to fibrosis, to autoimmune disease. In her free time, Jodie enjoys climbing, hiking, and most recently, watercolor painting.
