Jessie Dong
Jessie is studying Computer Science, AI, and Physics. As we continue to live through a time of accelerating progress, she is especially interested in the infrastructure and systems that will shape what comes next. She co-founded Sixtytwo, developing testing and reliability software for enterprise compute, ultimately pushing toward greater data sovereignty and more sustainable economic realities for companies. Jessie will work on engineering at Vercel as the first intern on their Data Platform team and at SpaceX on testing software for Starlink and Starship. She previously worked on embedded systems at Tesla and founded a consumer AI product centered around messaging interfaces, which was later acquired. From starting her own prebiotic yogurt brand to sell at farmers markets at 15 to launching a civic media project in high school fiscally sponsored by several U.S. senators, Jessie has always gravitated toward ideas that felt uniquely exciting. Through experiences at Stanford ranging from long-context reasoning research at SAIL to reading the Great Books through Structured Liberal Education, discussing privacy and ethics through the McCoy Family Center for Ethics in Society, helping support graduation through Grad Crew, and organizing Alumni Weekend, she is surrounded by the energy of people who think expansively, reinforcing her belief that nothing is too ambitious to pursue.
