Jeslu Jacob

Sustainability
Jeslu is a Sustainability Accelerator Post-Doctoral Fellow at Stanford University. An architect specialized in interdisciplinary research, she integrates HVAC design, IoT controls, and human behavior to bridge the gap between technology and application. She earned her PhD from IIT Kharagpur, India, as a Prime Minister’s Research Fellow—the country's most coveted research recognition. An Institute Gold Medalist, she also received an ‘Award of Prestige’ from the International Green Building Council. Professionally, she led the execution of a LEED Platinum-rated airport in India. Honored as an ISHRAE Youth Changemaker, Jeslu serves on ASHRAE technical committees to advance building decarbonization. She is also a trained classical dancer and painter.
