Jack Fuchs

Jack Fuchs is a co-founder and operating partner at Blackhorn Ventures, where he sources new investment opportunities and mentors founders. He is also a lecturer at Stanford University. Jack began advising early-stage companies in 2003 after a career as an operating leader in public and private companies. His investments, board service, and advisory roles span information technology, clean technology, and medical technology. He has served as chief financial officer for companies including NextBio, Motiv Power Systems, and ForteBio. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at IPWireless and Lumitrend and served as vice president of worldwide marketing at Becton Dickinson & Company. He was also an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company. He holds a BA in engineering sciences from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Stanford University.
