Hayagreeva Rao

Hayagreeva “Huggy” Rao is a professor of organizational behavior at the Stanford Graduate School of Business. Specifically, he studies collective action within organizations and in markets, and his research revolves around scaling up innovation and talent. He co-authored the widely acclaimed 2014 business book “Scaling Up Excellence: Getting to More Without Settling for Less” with fellow Stanford Professor Bob Sutton, in the university’s Department of Management Science & Engineering. Rao and Sutton recently launched the Designing Organizational Change Project, which is hosted by the Stanford Technology Ventures Program.
