Angela Tsao

Earth System Science + CS
Angela is a PhD student in Earth System Science and Computer Science, conducting research within Stanford's Sustainability and AI Lab and the Center for Food Security and the Environment. Her research focuses on developing machine learning approaches to better leverage remote sensing data for monitoring carbon sequestration and tree cover. She is supported by the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and recognized as an environmental leader by the Udall Foundation and National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration. Angela invests in early-stage student founders as an Investment Partner at Dorm Room Fund, and is excited about supporting PhD founders and deep tech startups.
