Akash Gupta

Akash is a master’s student in MS&E and recently completed his BS in Computer Science with a focus on AI. He’s interested in applied AI, especially in areas like healthcare and the evolving interaction layer between humans and agents. In recent summers, he’s worked across early-stage venture and at a pre-seed startup building customizable agentic workflows for internal business operations. These experiences led to his interest in the human–agent interaction layer, where he believes the biggest gains in AI will come from making collaboration between people and agents feel intuitive and fluid. At Stanford, he previously served as president of the Sports Analytics Club. Outside of work, he’s a loyal D.C. sports fan who enjoys pickup basketball and time with friends and family.
