Find Your Inner Dolphin

At times, admits Cowboy Ventures founder and managing partner Aileen Lee, she thought she might not stay in the venture capital business. As a woman in a male-dominated space, she sometimes imagined herself as a guppy swimming among sharks. But during a Henry Crown Fellows seminar at The Aspen Institute, she came up with a new visualization: She was a dolphin swimming with the sharks, and had every right to be in that ocean.
