10TH ANNIVERSARY STANFORD TECHNOLOGY VENTURES PROGRAM

SEPTEMBER 5TH AND 6TH, 2008

Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP), The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (University of Washington), Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies (USC), and Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship (University of Oregon) are jointly sponsoring the 6th West Coast Research Symposium on Technology Entrepreneurship and STVP-Research's 10th Anniversary this year.

Theme: Technology Entrepreneurship: New ventures and established corporations
Location: Stanford University
Date: Friday and Saturday, September 5 and 6, 2008

We invite authors to submit papers to the research symposium. Our goal is an exciting forum for scholars interested in technology entrepreneurship research to exchange ideas. The location is Stanford University in the heart of Silicon Valley. Papers focusing on corporate venturing, innovation, and entrepreneurship in technology-based settings will be given preference. There will also be a pre-conference doctoral consortium on Thursday, September 4 (details to follow).

We expect an intimate conference of about 40 leading scholars from around the world. The conference organizing committee invites the submission of unpublished working papers that advance the state of knowledge on technology entrepreneurship. The committee will select papers for presentation.

The DEADLINE for submission is Tuesday, May 27, 2008.

We hope to see you at Stanford!
